Exploration Expertise

C20 Investment Limited possesses the technical capability to undertake systematic gold exploration activities in compliance with international best practices. The company’s exploration approach includes:

  • Geological Mapping – Detailed surface mapping to identify lithologies, structures, and alteration zones associated with gold mineralization.
  • Geochemical Sampling – Collection and analysis of soil, stream sediment, and rock chip samples to delineate anomalies and prioritize drilling targets.
  • Geophysical Surveys – Application of ground and airborne geophysical methods (magnetic, resistivity, induced polarization) to define subsurface mineralization zones.
  • Drilling Programs – Design and execution of rotary air blast (RAB), reverse circulation (RC), and diamond drilling campaigns for resource definition and grade control.

Resource Evaluation

The company is equipped to evaluate mineral resources through established industry standards and methodologies. Competencies include:

  • Resource Estimation – Interpretation of geological and assay data, 3D modeling, and estimation of tonnage and grade using software such as Surpac, Datamine, or Micromine.
  • Feasibility Studies – Conducting scoping, pre-feasibility, and bankable feasibility studies covering mining methods, process design, infrastructure, and economics.
  • Compliance with Codes – Preparation of resource and reserve statements in line with JORC, NI 43-101, or other internationally recognized reporting frameworks.

Project Development

C20 Investments follows a structured project development pathway from discovery to production:

  • Pilot-Scale Projects – Design and implementation of pilot plants for metallurgical testing and process optimization, especially refractory ores (Pressure oxidation, Roasting, etc.).
  • Mine Planning & Design – Development of pit optimization studies, mine scheduling, and infrastructure layouts.
  • Commercial Operations – Transition from exploration to full-scale mining with emphasis on efficiency, safety, and long-term economic viability coupled with social responsibility.
  • Operational Readiness – Integration of workforce training, equipment selection, and supply chain setup to ensure smooth startup.

Regulatory Compliance

The company is committed to strict adherence to Ghana’s mining and environmental regulations, including:

  • Minerals and Mining Act, 2006 (Act 703) and subsequent amendments.
  • EPA Requirements for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and reclamation obligations.
